Oskoreien (California, USA)- Sweeping and epic Viking-influenced Metal with trace hints of Power Metal. The drums are programmed and all the tracks are mixed individually. That's because Oskoreien is the solo project of the amazingly talented 16 year old Jay Valena, and he is responsible for all instruments and programming. Jay is one of the young warriors that I'll be bragging about knowing "back in the day" 10 years from now.

My favorite song is “NEW Odainsvellir”. Jay is also the new lead guitarist for Mavet (a hard-as-nails Death Metal band I will be profiling here later) runs a forum dedicated to Viking Metal, and is a very cool guy. Check him out.
