Mörk Gryning (Their last performance), 8th Sin

Well, the evning kicked off with 8th Sin, never heard of them before actually since I came to the place after hearing Opthalamia had been assembled for a gig. No such thing, it was only IT that now is the main guy in 8th Sin.

It was...terriable, even went out to have a smoke and wished for them to get the hell off the stage. Nuff said 'bout em really. 1 out 10, no doubt about it.

Then Mörk Gryning came on, they have just released a new album (was in the studio just before us, so we talked some to em there as well.) but was doing their last gig - ever. After this release they have decided to break up and never re-unite the band again.

What can I say, they kicked off with 3 new tracks from the album, it was so-so in my opinion. But the during the concert a lot of tracks were played from Tusen År Har Gått and Return Fire. Needless to say I was 17 all over again!

And as a mighty final they did play the track Tusen År Har Gått, it was superb! Another real highlight during the concert was the track Templar. You can tell it's the bands own favorite, the sheer energy was awesome and I thought the vocalist was going to pass out.
8 out of 10.

Next up will be Gorgorth, 1349 (feat. Frost from Satyricon) and Thyrfing.
Same month but a bit later is Dissection and Behemoth.
(Behemoth might be one of the best live-bands around today!)
